Title: Consumer Goods Project Manager

Location: Lexington, KY

Shift: 1st, M-F

Pay: $85k-$95K

Insight Global is currently looking for a Project Manager join one of their customers in Lexington, KY. As a Project Manager, you will lead smaller project launches, managing cross-functional teams of 4-10 members. Your responsibilities include establishing project structure, adhering to schedules, driving decision-making, and solving problems. You will communicate project status across all organizational levels and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, brand management, finance, training, and sales teams to ensure successful launches. Initially, you will shadow a senior project leader to gain a better understanding of the company operations. Meeting launch dates is crucial to the success of this team, and you will spend about 60% of your time on calls/working sessions, 20% on project documentation, and 20% on collaboration. You may manage 2-3 projects simultaneously, from the initial business plan to market release. While you won’t make final decisions, you will facilitate the decision-making process. We seek someone with a proven track record of leading by influence and a strong understanding of project management in the consumer/durable goods space.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Finance
• 2+ Years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience managing projects in the consumer goods space
• Strong understanding of product development processes

Plusses:

• PMP Certification
• Strong Knowledge of Financial aspects involved in consumer goods projects
