Clinical Manager (RN or LPN)

Clinical Manager to manage the nurses and MA’s in a Pediatrics Practice in Sandy Springs. It will be a mixture of working the floor and also managing the staff. It's about 8 employees in total. Job Requirements are knowing about the vaccines, GRITS, VFC, Hearing and Vision, well checks, sick visits, etc. Position is full time Mon- Fri 8-5pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs duties of Physician Office Nurse.

2. Coordinates with the Nurse Manager in implementing clinical policies and procedures.

3. Coordinates the daily clinical activities of RN’s, LPN’s and Medical Assistants.

4. Ensures compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations.

5. Maintains an efficient and effective patient flow in conjunction with the Front Office Supervisor.

6. Manages, with Nurse Manager, scheduling of nursing personnel ensuring appropriate staffing.

7. Works with Nurse Manager on managing the human resources of the department including interviewing, orienting, training, assigning work to, and, when necessary, disciplining and terminating employees.

8. Evaluates the performance of subordinates by monitoring individual work performance and obtaining feedback from parents, physicians and other personnel.

9. Assigns and oversees ancillary duties such as OSHA, supply ordering, bulletin board maintenance, educational materials, log books, etc.

10. Holds ultimate responsibility for accurate immunization inventory and reporting monthly inventory the close of business at the end of the month and other assigned times.

11. Works with the Payroll Department to accurate recording of payroll records.

12. Holds monthly nursing meetings and attend other meetings as directed.

13. Assists in identifying, analyzing and resolving work flow problems.

14. Participates in educational programs as directed to increase professional competency.
