Environmental Health Safety Specialist

40-60 hours per week - OT pay!

Night shift - 3pm-2am

Required Skills & Experience

-BA in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related field of study/experience

-1+ year of experience in Environmental Health & Safety field, with an emphasis in safety --

-Knowledge in a variety of occupational health & safety standards including OSHA 1910, EPA, NFPA, -ASME and/or ANSI regulations Ability to conduct a job hazard analysis, site audits and/or incident root cause analysis

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Fluency with data capture, analytics, spreadsheets and presentations Aerospace, Military or Aviation experience

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for an EHS Specialist II at Kennedy Space Center. You will help manage day to day EHS requirements such as emergency response, incident management, program development, employee engagement, assist in job hazard assessments, inspection of personal protective equipment, evaluation of procedures and other EHS functions. This role will also be responsible for gathering and maintaining EHS records and data as required by the EHS management system. Pay rate is between $30-$41/hr depending on experience.
