About the Company: Huisman is a globally operating company with extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of heavy construction equipment for the world's leading on and offshore companies. Products include offshore cranes, drilling and pipelay systems.
About the Role: Technical Supply Chain Administrator (aka Sales Officer) will handle the administration of proposals and quotations, order intake and purchase orders. Be responsible for:
- Quote and order handling.
- Expediting and invoicing.
- Provide advice and solutions to customers, in close co-operation with internal departments.
- Analyse and assess sales inquiries, requests for questions and orders, both technically and commercially.
- Manage documentation scope.
- Initiate logistics and define requirements.
- Preparing purchase requests and make sure hand over orders to supply chain.
- Assist with purchase and logistics requirements.
- Monitoring the timely delivery of purchased goods and customer orders, report non-conformances to Account Management.
- Providing ideas, suggestions and interpretation for improvement for customer relation management.
Responsibilities: Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or technical. Technical field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or supply chain.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Self-critical with proposed solutions (see risks, pros and cons).
- Strong analytic thinking and accurate.
- Strong organization, time management, conflict resolution, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong computer skills with MS Office.
- Preferred forklift operating experience.
