Job Title: Estimator – Commercial Construction - up to $120K + benefits - Dublin, OH

Overview: A premier commercial construction company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join their team. This role is crucial for accurately forecasting project costs, ensuring competitive yet profitable bids, and supporting successful project completions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in construction estimating, with a focus on complex commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, including labor, materials, and timelines, to develop precise cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive coverage of all cost factors.
• Prepare and present detailed cost proposals to internal stakeholders, addressing potential risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Manage bid process, including document review, addenda, and deadlines, ensuring submissions are timely and meet quality standards.
• Continuously update cost databases to reflect current pricing trends and industry standards.
• Support post-bid reviews and participate in negotiations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of commercial construction codes and regulations.
