Field Service Technician - Large Agricultural Packaging Machines

My client is a 40+ year old company and a leader in the agricultural packaging equipment industry and they seek an exceptional candidate to do field service, installation, and customer training activities on packaging equipment in the northwest territory. You must currently be living in the Northwest area to be considered, preferably the state of Washington

A successful candidate will have demonstrated exceptional electrical and mechanical skills, ideally have a certification in electronics. The position involves field work in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Western Canada, with an emphasis on the state of Washington.

Pasco, WA is the ideal base to operate from to limit the travel.

Technical skills required:

Strong electrical knowledge and skills, an understanding of and ability to wire electrical panel boxes.

Strong knowledge of equipment mechanics with strong mechanical skills to fix equipment

Very strong diagnosis, trouble-shooting, and technical problem-solving skills

People skills required:

A positive mindset, strong character, and excellent interpersonal skills to build strong, long-lasting, and positive relationships with customers and co-workers

A team mindset and approach to work, and the ability to effectively work independently with very limited oversight and direction

A strong ability to effectively handle stress and to overcome obstacles

An entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in developing skills that support equipment sales

This role has tremendous potential for a six figure income with regular incentives paid for the technician's involvement in increased business within the customer as well as new customers secured.

Most technicians are earning $100-120K with bonuses and incentives.

Typical base salary is $70-75K
