Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage maintenance operations at our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems, including PLCs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a distribution center environment or a similar industrial setting, along with a proven track record of maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily maintenance activities for the assigned shift.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with equipment, machinery, and automated systems (including PLCs).
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on distribution center equipment, including conveyors, sorters, automated material handling systems, and other machinery.
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies in all maintenance activities.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring timely availability of critical components.
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and improvements, in the company’s maintenance management system.
• Work with management to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a distribution center, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Familiarity with automated systems used in distribution centers (e.g., conveyors, sorters, robotic systems).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
