Physician / Gastroenterology / Illinois / Locum or Permanent / Gastroenterologist opening in Peoria, IL - loan forgiveness Job

Seeking an additional BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our Gastroenterology department in Peoria, IL.

• Inpatient consults and Inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology
  • Annual consult volumes: Hospital 1-180, Hospital 2-228, Hospital 3-528
  • Annual procedure volumes: Hospital 1-80, Hospital 2-124, Hospital 3-553
• Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation
• Full time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage
• 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
• Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses
• EUS procedure, plus ERCP
• Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards
• Level II Trauma Center that has been ranked in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
