The Atlassian Administrator (JIRA/Confluence) will be responsible for providing:

  • Tier 1.5-Tier 3 technical administration and support for multiple Atlassian applications on multiple networks.
  • Use Jira & Confluence to deliver creative solutions for non-standard use cases.
  • Will maintain Jira and Confluence projects, workflows, permissions, users and security.
  • Will work with application-level filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and Jira administration.
  • Utilizing the Atlassian toolset and how those tools should be maximized for internal users.
  • Daily responsibilities will include scripting, installing plug ins, managing permissions in the tool, troubleshooting any application related issues, configuring workflows, and create new projects within the JIRA and Confluence space.
What you will bring to us:?
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Current DoD IAT II Level certification?or the ability to successfully obtain one within 90 days of hire
  • Willingness to work on-site in a secured environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years technical experience

    • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience working on Atlassian Products
Would be nice if you bring the following:?
  • Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • Transition and provisioning JIRA Servers
  • Supported a large scale Atlassian Product (Jira, Confluence, etc) solution on a federal program
  • Experience enhancing and adding functionality to Jira instances.
  • Familiarity with networking and load balancers
  • 2-3 years of experience performing the following or related:

    • Windows and Linux system administration, PowerShell and Shell scripting to automate tasks.
    • Application administration experience with a customer-focused attitude. This includes the following applications: MySQL & PostgreSQL database experience.
    • Bonus Points if you have exposure and/or experience in Infrastructure Management / Amazon Web Services S3, EC2 (EBS, ELB), RDS, Snapshots, NACLs, SGs, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Cost Optimization practices to deploy capabilities, services, and effectively manage multiple AWS accounts.
