Job Description

The role of the Quality Data Analyst is to act as an expert in clinical data within the organization, focusing on system data and its effective utilization. They support key individuals within the organization, helping them leverage this data to drive process improvement and enhance all aspects of care delivery. Additionally, they develop tools and standardized dashboards to present system data for analysis and interpretation, aiming to enhance patient care quality and outcomes. As project manager, they collaborate with the quality department and service lines to coordinate efforts in developing customized and standardized reporting solutions. This includes setting schedules and evaluating project progress to ensure successful implementation.

  • Preferably experienced in multiple programming languages, such as Microsoft T-SQL, VBScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), CCL, and Oracle SQL.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and the Microsoft Suite is required.

  • Effectively manages priorities, allocating time and scheduling to address the highest priorities of executive leadership first and then the priorities of the Strategic Analytics department.


Required Experience


Work Experience



  • Three plus years of relevant healthcare industry experience working in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data management role required.

  • Three plus years of experience in data management, data visualization, and analytics using tools such as MS SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, or R required.

  • Working knowledge of relational database and data warehouse concepts required.

  • Cerner EHR knowledge required.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications required.


Education and Training



  • Bachelor degree in Healthcare Informatics, Business or Information Technology required.
