Project Manager/Scrum Master

Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid PM/Scrum Master to take on a large project. This position will sit in the St. Louis office and work in a hybrid environment- 2 days wfh, 3 days in office.

Essential Duties The major qualifications for the job would be experience including:

• Working with the development team, business, and program manager to create and execute release schedules.
• Collaboration in work prioritization, coming from multiple work stream groups
• Working with the development manager to ensure that the development team has visibility to be able to work on the highest priority tasks
• Working with the business, development team, QA, release management, etc, to ensure progression of work items through the SDLC.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right point of contact.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and communicating status.
• Supporting the Product Owner, balancing new enhancement work with production support work, setting realistic expectations.
• Providing support to the team, and leading by example
• Tracking the project budget and working with the development team and business to ensure appropriate resource allocation. Required Skills/Experience
• Project Management/Leadership experience for at least 7 years
• Experience in the role of Scrum Master in software development environment for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of SDLC.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Detail-oriented, pro-active, excellent communication skills and follow-through
• Experience with MS Project and budget tracking
• Knowledge and experience in project management with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
• BA/BS degree

Required Skills : Preferred Skills/Experience: PMP Certification MBA and/or Masters in Project Management First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, ACP,PSM I) Knowledge of Agile approaches: Scrum, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc. PMI-ACP certification preferred. Knowledge of Agile Tools utilized from story to design task and release, such as Jira. Previous experience as a team lead A technical understanding of Networks and Cable Operations Experience working with Release Management.
