We are seeking a dynamic and innovative (Aluminum Foundry) Mechanical Engineer to join our leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the aluminum foundry operations, including process development, troubleshooting, quality control, and continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success by optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest level of product quality.
Responsibilities:
As an Aluminum Foundry Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing process improvements in the aluminum foundry to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving process issues in the foundry to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
3. Collaborating with the design and production teams to develop new product designs and manufacturing processes.
4. Conducting regular inspections and audits of the foundry operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
5. Providing technical support and training to foundry personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
6. Conducting regular quality control tests and inspections to ensure that products meet or exceed customer specifications.
7. Collaborating with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials and equipment for the foundry.
8. Preparing and presenting technical reports on foundry operations and process improvements to senior management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Aluminum Foundry Engineer position will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in aluminum foundry operations or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of foundry processes, including casting, molding, and finishing.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.
5. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
8. Proficiency in using computer software and systems for process design and control.
