This role will oversee the management of our residential multi-unit properties portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency, optimal financial performance, and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with a specific focus on residential properties, and will have experience working with private equity firms.

Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement property management strategies that drive operational efficiency, increase property value, and ensure the satisfaction of residents and clients.
2. Oversee the day-to-day management of our residential multi-unit properties, including leasing, maintenance, and customer service.
3. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage property budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure the financial health of our properties.
4. Partner with the investment team to identify and evaluate potential property acquisitions, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
5. Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing property management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
8. Provide regular updates to senior management on property performance, market trends, and other relevant issues.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on residential multi-unit properties.
3. Proven experience working with private equity firms.
4. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, financial analysis, and real estate economics.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
6. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and insights.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
8. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
9. Proficiency in property management software and other relevant technology tools.
10. Willingness to travel as needed to manage properties and meet with stakeholders.
