Job Description

Our client has one of the largest groups of prominent Attorneys anywhere in the country who focus on managed care. This group routinely handles business, regulatory, litigation, arbitration, mediation, consulting and other managed care issues, for clients including prominent regional, national and local healthcare providers at the institutional, professional, and ancillary, managerial, and investor levels.
This is an excellent Los Angeles-based opportunity for a junior- to mid-level California-licensed litigation Associate Attorney to join a team who specializes in commercial and government managed care, complex business litigation, arbitration, mediation, class action, investigations, and other dispute resolution matters.
This group has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for healthcare providers in civil actions and arbitrations against health plans. You will have the opportunity to represent hospitals, medical groups, physicians, pharmacies, laboratories, surgery centers, and home health companies in arbitrations in federal and state courts.
As a healthcare litigator, you will gain extensive experience working with Partners managing large multi-party, multi-million dollar disputes, litigating business contract and tort disputes, prosecuting and defending actions brought by large healthcare payors against hospital providers, heading up international white collar crime investigations for global healthcare device manufacturers, and providing advice on healthcare law and reform topics.
