Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:

Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues Installs and/or upgrades the mainframe product in the related environment Competent to work in most phases of database management Under general direction, designs, implements and maintains complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, guidelines, and statistical methods Directs the monitoring, administering and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database Maintains database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
• ITILv4
• IAT Level II Certification
• Education/Experience in one of the following:
  • SQL
  • Metalogix Suite

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:

• III: 13+ Years

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

• Sitting for long periods
• Standing for long periods
• Ambulate throughout an office
• Ambulate between several buildings
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
• Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 25 pounds
• Travel by land or air transportation 15 %
