      Job DetailsA large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced CVICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RNs for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of CVICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.
        Job RequirementsThe right candidate will have 2 years of CVICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.MUST HAVE LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCETraveler must pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting.All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with exceptions for specific units.Must demonstrate competency in maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently.Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position.
          Schedule InformationContract length is 13 weeks.Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule.Shifts are 7-7.Float to other ICUs and all Tele units. Travelers will float 1st before perm staff.
            Unit Specific Information- Ratios: 1:1-2. High number of 1:1.- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Cardiac surgery recovery, Empallas, IABP, CRRT, lung transplant, thoracic, Ecmo, esophogectomy, lobectomy, pneumectomy, TAVR.
              Additional DetailsUnit: CTICU/CVICU- # beds: 24- EMR: Cerner- High acuity, travelers with IABP and CABG experience can take patients.
