$7000 Sign On Bonus for RPSGT or CPSGT


Scott County Hospital, located in Scott City, KS, is seeking a qualified Polysomnographer, for our fully accredited Sleep Disorder Center.

Polysomnographer Responsibilities:

  • Performs hook-ups and monitoring of all Sleep Center procedures
  • Procedures include standard Polysomnography, Polysomnography with seizure montage, Polysomnography with CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, and Multiple Wakefulness Tests.
  • Scores patient studies following guidelines in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Manual.
  • Assists in the maintenance and handling of patient records for scoring, storage, preparation of patient charges, mailings, collection and graphing of sleep diaries, etc.

Requirements:

Polysomnographer Requirements:

  • RPSGT, CPSGT required or will train the right candidate with KS licensure for LPN, RN, or RRT (sign-on bonus not applicable)
  • Requires registry by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required upon hire or within 90 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months of employment.
