Senior Python Developer - Flask/Django Frameworks

Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer or Lead who has a strong background in designing and building scalable REST APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the healthcare domain, particularly with the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) protocol . You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities : - REST API Development : Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Python, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. - FHIR Protocol : Implement and integrate FHIR protocol within healthcare applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Solution Design : Architect and design end-to-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with healthcare systems and services. - Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, UI/UX teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. - Code Reviews & Best Practices : Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and documentation. - Healthcare System Integration : Ensure seamless data exchange between healthcare systems using the FHIR standard. - Continuous Improvement : Identify and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and applications to meet evolving healthcare Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Experience : 6 years of Python development experience with a focus on building scalable REST Expertise : - Proficiency in Python and related frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI. - Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Strong knowledge of the healthcare domain, with hands-on experience using the FHIR protocol. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling. - Knowledge of security best practices, particularly in healthcare Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Leadership and mentorship capabilities for junior developers. - A proactive, team-oriented, and collaborative Qualifications : - Healthcare Experience : Hands-on experience working with other healthcare standards such as HL7 or HIPAA compliance is a plus. - DevOps Knowledge : Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes. - API Security : Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
