Java Developer - Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture

Job description : Overview : We are seeking a motivated Java Developer with 1-3 years of experience in software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java 1.8 and above, coupled with hands-on experience in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a desire to work in the Banking or Capital Markets industry, we encourage you to apply Overall Responsibilities : Software Development : - Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on high-quality code and adherence to established coding standards. - Implement functionality using Java 1.8 and above, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Microservices Architecture : - Participate in developing and deploying microservices using Spring Boot to support scalable application architecture. - Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of microservices within existing systems. Messaging Systems : - Work with messaging systems such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ, JMS, Active MQ, or IBM MQ to facilitate communication between distributed systems. - Leverage these technologies to enhance application performance and reliability. Collaboration and Teamwork : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product management, and operations, to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices. Problem-Solving : - Apply strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance under pressure. - Participate in incident resolution and support application maintenance as needed. Technical Skills : - Java Proficiency : Strong experience in Java development with a focus on Java 1.8 or higher. - Frameworks : Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building robust and scalable applications. - Microservices : Understanding of Microservices architecture and its principles for application development. - Messaging Systems : Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ, JMS, Active MQ, or IBM MQ is a strong advantage. Experience : - At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Java software development. - Exposure to the Banking or Capital Markets industry is a plus. - Qualifications : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
