Roles & Responsibilities : - Experience in Liferay should include design, development, customization of Liferay DXP/Liferay Portal 6.x/7.x and Java/J2EE technologies. - Good understanding on Portal cluster environment. - Will be involved in gathering the requirements, Application Analysis and Development. - Experience in Liferay Hooks, Extensions, Themes and Portlets using Liferay Service Builder, Design and Integration Points. - Experience in developing Rest - API'S / Microservices in Liferay. - Experience in client - side scripting technologies - JQuery, angular, react. - Integrating Portal with different BI environment using webservices. - Analyze and maintain existing software applications. - Design highly scalable, testable code. Required : - Required Technical Skill Set - Liferay Portal 6.2, Java, JSP, JS, JSR Portlet API, Spring, Struts, Liferay MVC, Hibernate, Service Builder, Alloy UI, Velocity Templates, AJAX, JSON, JQuery, Bootstrap, LDAP, Tomcat, MySQL. Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role : - Design and Development of Portal using Liferay out of box portlets, Liferay MVC Portlets, Spring MVC portlets, Struts portlets depending on the requirement. - Designing the application as per the mock ups shared by the UI team by using the UI technologies like CSS, JS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Alloy UI. - Managing the Portal using strong Administrative and Deployment skills of Liferay. - Integrating Portal with different BI environments using Webservices - Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards - 5-7 years of experience in Development, Administration, Deployment, Up-gradation of Liferay Portal with high volume and high-reliability requirements. - Strong knowledge and experience in n-tier web applications, with knowledge of the different tiers, including: web servers, application servers, databases and infrastructure. - Creating and managing Liferay Portal themes. - JSR 286 Portlet development. - Basics of WCM concepts and experience of working with Liferay WCM , Authoring/Publishing processes. - Hands-on Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC Portlets, Struts Portlets, Liferay MVC Portlets, Service Builder and (ref:hirist.tech)
