Lead BI Analyst - ETL Tools

Job Description : Nilasu Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Lead BI Analyst to join our team. As the Lead BI Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models and ETL processes using Power BI tools such as Power Query and Power Pivot. You should have expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and other Power BI tools and features. Additionally, you will be involved in creating dynamic partition processes for SSAS Tubular Cube and working with SSIS, SSRS, and MS SQL. A basic knowledge of Azure Analysis Services and Azure Data Factory is a plus. Role And Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes using Power BI tools such as Power Query and Power Pivot. - Create dynamic partition processes for SSAS Tubular Cube. - Work with SSIS and its variables and expressions to create a dynamic partition process. - Create SSRS reports. - Create or update SSIS packages, MS SQL queries, procedures, dynamic queries, DW databases, SSAS Tabular, Power BI reports. - Ingest data through creating/modifying SSIS packages for daily runs, with error checking and notifications to the developer team. - ETL ingestion divided into three parts: Source to staging tables, staging table to DW (Fact & Dim Tables), DW to SSAS services (incremental refresh or default refresh). - Create/modify SSIS catalog, job scheduling, and optimize SSIS packages. - Create/modify ETL, job scheduling through cron tab, and optimize packages. - Write complex SQL queries/procedures using recursive CTE, inner queries, joins, and optimize them. - Create/modify SSAS tables, data sources, relationships between tables, refresh, and dynamic partition creation and processing. Candidate Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Analyst or a similar role. - Proficiency in SQL is required. - Experience working with Power BI tools such as Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX. - Strong knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and MS SQL. - Experience creating and optimizing ETL processes. - Basic knowledge of Azure Analysis Services and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
