DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Title : DevOps Engineer Location : Pune Experience Level : 8 years in Engineering/Programming, with 4 years in DevOps Notice Period : Immediate - 30 days Job Summary : We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in programming and a passion for automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, containerization, and DevOps tools, along with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving development processes. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Terraform, SonarQube, and Fortify. - Integrate test automation into CI/CD processes to ensure seamless and efficient delivery. - Work with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Azure, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and container technologies such as Docker, Buildah, and Kaniko. - Automate development and delivery processes using scripts and relevant tools, enhancing productivity and minimizing manual intervention. - Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) and evaluate the right technologies and cloud services to optimize application performance and deployment. - Collaborate with Agile teams, contributing to Scrum practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Stay updated on DevOps best practices, with a focus on continuous integration, delivery, and deployment strategies. - Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and innovate within the DevOps space. Required Skills and Experience : - 8 years of experience in engineering or programming with a strong understanding of programming constructs in Java, Python, or Shell scripting. - 4 years of hands-on DevOps experience, particularly with CI/CD tools and processes. - Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Buildah, or Kaniko. - Proven track record of automating parts of the development and delivery process. - Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to challenges. Preferred Qualifications : - Azure Cloud Fundamentals certification. - Passion for DevOps and a strong understanding of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
