Exponentia - Alteryx/Power BI Developer - SQL/ETL

Job Responsibilities : - Lead the development and deployment of Alteryx solutions using best practices and framework. - Design end-to-end solutions for clients, focusing on end applications, ensuring scalability and performance optimization. - Provide expertise on pricing models, manage cost estimates, and develop Bill of Materials (BoM) for client projects. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. - Document workflows, API structures, and architectural designs, ensuring transparency and clarity for all stakeholders. - Effectively communicate with clients and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any technical questions Roles & Responsibilities : Required Skills : - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in designing and developing Alteryx solutions. - Lead and build end-to-end data workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). - Develop workflows that can process structured and unstructured data, integrating with various data sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage, etc.). - Proven experience in data cleansing tasks such as handling missing values, correcting data types, and removing duplicates. - Proven experience developing and deploying end-to-end solutions from development to production environments. - Extensive hands-on experience with Alteryx designer for building data pipelines and workflow development. - Strong expertise in SQL for querying databases, performing joins, filtering, and aggregating data. - Strong understanding of Formulas, Expressions, Data aggregation, Pivoting and Unpivoting Data. - Strong expertise in Automation, Optimization and Error handling. - Experience working with various data connectors in Alteryx, including SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), cloud databases (e.g. Snowflake, Google Big Query), and flat files (e.g. Excel, CSV). - Familiarity with integrating external data via REST APIs and web services using Alteryx tools like the Download Tool and JSON Parse Tool. - Ability to create reports directly within Alteryx using tools like Tableau Output, Power BI Output, Render Tool, and Report Text Tool. - Experienced in exporting data into different formats like Excel, CSV, database tables, or cloud storage. - Familiarity with managing workflows on Alteryx Server or using Alteryx Gallery for sharing and running workflows. - Understanding of version control practices for managing workflow changes and ensuring proper documentation and collaboration. - Experience in integrating Alteryx workflows with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik for visualizing data and generating reports. - Basic knowledge of data visualization principles to ensure that output data from Alteryx is presented in a user-friendly and actionable way. - Strong ability to troubleshoot workflow errors, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues related to data quality, connectivity, or performance. - Ability to assess data quality and perform data validation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data in workflows. - Experience conducting architecture and technical discussions with clients. - Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure/AWS) for invoking cloud services. - Strong architectural skills for designing scalable and performant solutions. - Ability to work closely with other teams, such as business analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and IT teams, to understand requirements and deliver the solutions. - Strong communication Skill in explaining complex workflows or data transformations to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring the results are actionable and aligned with business goals. - Experience with power bi, DAX (ref:hirist.tech)
