Linux Administrator - Troubleshooting

Profile : Linux Administrator Job description : - Experience with strong Linux domain knowledge and troubleshooting skills, scripting, debug and build tools. - Experience in RedHat Linux OS & LVM, RAID. - Knowledge/Hands on in RedHat cluster - Experience in performance tuning of OS, Application and Databases. - Relevant experience on a high volume enterprise help desk or similar support role. - Excellent hands-on experience on different Linux distributions - Exposure on virtualization and cloud platforms. - Exposure to performance tuning of OS, Application and Databases. - Solid knowledge of and experience with Red Hat-based Linux distributions - Experience with different flavors of Linux (RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu) - Installation of operating system and system updates, patches, version upgrades per vendor recommendations. - Excellent scripting skills in bash - RHCE certified candidates will be given preference. - Manage Linux servers on AWS, Azure, and VMware environments. - Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure using Ansible, IDM, CEPH, Satellite, Red Hat Linux. - Ensure high availability of applications by implementing load balancing techniques. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues. - Perform regular backups and disaster recovery processes for critical systems. - Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems. - Monitor system performance and ensure availability. - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. - Perform regular system backups and updates. - Ensure system security and compliance. - Prepare and submit system performance reports to management. - Stay updated with the latest Linux technologies and trends. Job Requirements : - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware). - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash/Python/Ansible; knowledge of containerization using Docker is an added advantage. - Experience with identity management tools like Active Directory/OpenLDAP/FreeIPA; familiarity with Microsoft Azure services is desirable.
