SAP MM Consultant

Overview : The SAP MM Consultant plays a pivotal role in the organization by ensuring effective management of materials and procurement processes within the SAP MM module. Key Responsibilities : - Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements related to materials management and procurement processes. - Configure and customize SAP MM functionalities to meet specific business needs. - Integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules for seamless business operations. - Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. - Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the MM area. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations and processes. - Provide training and support to users for effective use of the SAP MM module. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems with business strategies. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Stay updated on SAP MM module enhancements and industry best practices. - Support data migration activities during system implementations. - Assist in designing and implementing reports for procurement and inventory metrics. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies during project execution. - Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to communicate system updates. - Provide post-implementation support and enhancement recommendations based on user feedback. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant. - In-depth knowledge of procurement and inventory management processes. - Experience with SAP configuration and customization for the MM module. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with integration points of SAP MM with other modules like SD, PP, and FI. - Experience in conducting user training and documentation. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Experience in managing small to medium-sized projects. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends. - Willingness to travel as needed for user training and support. - SAP MM certification is a plus. - Knowledge of Agile and SAP Activate methodologies is advantageous.
