SAP HANA Developer - ABAP Module

Job Title : SAP ABAP HANA Developer Experience : 7 - 9 years Location : Bangalore (Hybrid) Primary Skills : SAP ABAP, HANA, Fiori Educational Criteria : Any computer Related degree / Any Engineering Roles and Responsibilities : Development and Customization : - Design, develop, and customize ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces within SAP HANA. - Create and maintain data models using Core Data Services (CDS) views. - Develop Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services. Performance Optimization : - Analyze and optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and efficiency, particularly for HANA databases. - Implement best practices for coding and performance tuning specific to SAP HANA. Integration : - Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications through APIs, web services, and IDoc interfaces. - Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Testing and Documentation : - Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT). - Document technical specifications, design documents, and development processes. Troubleshooting and Support : - Identify and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and HANA database queries. - Provide support for system upgrades and patches, ensuring compatibility and functionality. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure alignment with business objectives. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Continuous Learning and Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices related to ABAP and HANA development. - Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. Project Involvement : - Contribute to project planning and estimation for ABAP development tasks. - Collaborate in agile development environments, participating in sprints and stand-ups as needed. Skills and Qualifications : Technical Skills : - Proficiency in ABAP programming, experience with SAP HANA database, and knowledge of SQL and data modeling. Tools : - Familiarity with SAP development tools (e.g., Eclipse-based ADT), SAP Fiori, and SAP Gateway. Problem-Solving : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
