VP, IBD Compliance

Responsiblities:

• Providing compliance advisory to IBD, ECM, and M&A transactions
• Tracking and implementing regulatory changes based on recent regulatory developments
• Oversight of Control room duties
• To conduct regulatory reviews and inspections with the external reviewer and regulator.
• Continue to enhance the existing investment banking division’s internal control

Qualification:

• Over 5 years of work experience in compliance in a reputable bank.
• University degree or professional qualification in Law / Finance / Accounting / Business or related disciplines.
• Sound knowledge of rules, regulations and statutory requirements of MAS and/or other regulatory bodies.
• Effective communications skills (written and spoken).
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Independence and robustness.
• Personal authority, integrity, and ethics.
