Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion Services

Full Time Flex – 72 hours/pay

8-hour Day/Evening shifts

ChristianaCare is seeking a full time Registered Nurse for our Infusion Services department. The Infusion Center at ChristianaCare provides infusion and transfusion services for patients in a comfortable outpatient setting. We offer therapy to patients who may not require hospitalization or who may not be receiving home care because of insurance constraints. We provide services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and offer a range of professional services. All nursing staff are educated and trained in all types of vascular access devices. The infusion services offered include, but are not limited to: Antibiotic, anti-fungal, anti-viral medications, Blood Product Transfusions, Hemophilia factors, IV Immune Globulin, Therapeutic Phlebotomies, Iron Therapy, IV Steroids, Cortrosyn Stimulation Testing, various monoclonal antibody therapies, Vascular Access declotting and Pheresis procedures.

This position will also float to our Wilmington campus Infusion suite.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
  • At least two years of Acute Care experience required.
  • Previous critical care or procedural area experience preferred.
  • Previous RN Infusion experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Chemo certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
