Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands on experience within a secondary school environment?
Have you recently been considering a career in teaching and have aspirations with working alongside young people?
A Secondary School based in Oldham, are seeking dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants. Ideally a candidate will have experience in working with secondary school aged students in an educational environment, or in a similar capacity, including care roles and social work. Candidates will need to be confident working in fast paced environments and able to adapt teaching style to the specific needs of the child.
As a Teaching Assistant you will work alongside qualified professionals in aiding the care and success of young people. No day is the same, so our best candidates will be up for the challenge and will thrive in producing the best support for both teachers and students.
This role is great for anyone wanting to further their career in teaching as it offers all the relevant experience and skills required for future teacher training!

Aid the learning and development of students inside the classroom
Plan and execute detailed intervention’s, tailored to specific students and their needs
Work alongside qualified professionals, supporting them at all times
Possibility of working with children with additional learning requirements (SEN)

A degree in any specialism
Classroom behavioural management skills
