Job Description

ISS Healthcare is now seeking to appoint a Project Manager for our contract at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all processes—both existing and newly developed—and ensuring that all works are delivered according to best practices and industry standards.

With your focus on lifecycle management, variations and small works capital projects, ensuring that these are executed to the highest standards.

You will be instrumental in building long-term strategic relationships with key business stakeholders, optimising processes, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that the project delivery team comply fully with all Health and Safety legislation
• Ensure that all projects comply with relevant Healthcare Technical Memorandum
• Ensure that relevant Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work are in place and available
• Ensure that the Project Delivery Team complies with ISS Policies in respect of Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and competency
• Ensure Life Cycle planned expenditure is kept up to date and produce a Yearly Forecast; monthly for the KAM
• Maintain effective lines of communication with the Hard FM Manager, Estates Compliance Manager, Hard FM Team Leaders and client Project Manager Planning

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Demonstrable Project Management experience (preferably in Facilities Management) of delivering lifecycle, variations and small works Capital Projects.
• Experience in Healthcare Technical Memoranda (HTM) - preferred
• Qualification in CDM Regulations
• Knowledge of financial procedures e.g. preparing KPI, WOR reports
• Good experience in commercially aggressive environment - managing multiple stakeholders
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to interpret complex information in order to interrogate data
• Good user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word & Excel and Project
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good levels of numeracy with an ability to understand and assist with budgets
