Job Title: Assistant Site Manager (Temp to Perm)
Location: Colchester
Project: Traditional Build Housing - 50 Residential units left
Temp rate: £220 per day CIS
Perm salary: Up to £45k + car allowance + package
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Site Manager to join our team for an exciting traditional build project in Colchester, which is running until next year and 50 units left to go.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring smooth operations
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations
Monitor progress, check materials, and ensure quality control on-site
Conduct site inductions and ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols
Support the Site Manager with scheduling, inspections, and reporting progress to senior management
Help maintain site records, including deliveries, timesheets, and site diariesRequirements:
Proven experience in traditional build housing
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role is desirable
Strong knowledge of health & safety standards in the construction environment
Proficiency with site documentation and scheduling tools
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are desirable, but not essentialWhat We Offer:
