A little bit about the role…
We are currently looking for a Lead Estimator to join our Aviation division and work with our expanding Pre-Construction team.
Reporting to a Managing Estimator, you will be working on a portfolio of tenders for civil engineering projects and infrastructure contracts. Ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of all bids whilst working closely with the tender sponsor, planner and estimating assistants.
Due to the complexity of projects that we work on, we are keen to receive applications from candidates who are familiar with tendering Civil Engineering projects and safety & security critical Infrastructure contracts.

As a Lead Estimator, you will be:

Reviewing tender documents and highlighting any potential issues
Pricing and producing tender submissions from first principles
Analytical estimating; producing net cost estimates
Preparing tender adjudication documents
Liaison with clients and Consultants as required
Producing pricing documents, procurement enquiry packages and materials schedules from drawings and specifications
A little bit about you…

Familiar with tendering Civil Engineering projects and safety & security critical Infrastructure contracts.
You will have a demonstrable knowledge of CESSM, SMM7 and of Construction Contracts such as NR, NEC and ICC forms.
Proficient in the use Excel and estimating software such as Causeway.
Have a technical understanding of Civil Engineering processes and will have a history of successfully winning a variety of projects.Even if your previous experience doesn't align perfectly with every aspect of the job description, we strongly encourage you to submit your application.
