Job Description

Our client is looking for a Management Accountant for their Peterhead office

Job description:

Reporting to the Finance Director, and working with the broader finance team, you will provide technical accounting expertise in the preparation of the consolidated Divisional results, as well as assisting in the preparation of associate company accounts.

Key responsibilities:

The accounts and admin assistants key duties will include the following:
-Preparation of monthly associate company accounts.
-Preparation of associate company forecasts and budgets
-Preparing year end associate company management accounts for submission to accountants
-Assist with monthly management accounts for submission to Group Head Office.
-Travel to ports to assist in the associate company accounting work.
-Travel to the Divisional Head Office.

The Ideal Candidate:
-Will be based in Peterhead
-Part qualified or qualified by experience accountant
-Previous experience in the Fishing industry preferred but not required
-Reporting system experience preferred
-Experience in consolidation and associate company accounting
-Excellent communication skills
-Self-disciplined and efficient
-Experienced in Excel
-Ability to work to deadlines
