Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of production equipment to identify and address any issues or abnormalities.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in a timely manner.
• Repair and replace defective components, such as motors, belts, sensors, and PLCs.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maximize machine uptime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document work performed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting machinery issues.
• Experience with PLCs and control systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work on a day shift schedule with occasional overtime.
